I am a Cloud Solutions Engineer, I create Networks, write infrastructure as code, move applications to AWS and sometimes update parts of the app itself to make them cloud friendly.
I’ve always loved fashion. My mom tailored, so I was around clothes and fabrics a lot. I recall making a fashion show from newspapers with my childhood friends.
Not just one thing. I love problem solving and this is why I am still enjoying engineering, but my job is so much more than that. I also have to “own” public speaking, in order to be able to present at conferences and meetups and speak well to clients. I feel like I just performed at a concert after a successful presentation. It’s real adrenaline rush. Last, but not least I love my coworkers. There is never a dull moment at the office.
I’d definitely take advantage of your little spotlight interview to speak to girls who are hesitating of joining the field. I’d say computer science has glamour and it’s a solid career. Don’t get discouraged if you didn’t grasp a concept right away. If you are good at math, be sure you can do it. Keep your eyes on the prize and don’t pay attention to what everyone else is doing.
It’s just T and anything that come of out T-Bird, T-Bomb.. etc.
I have become a better professional all around through speaking to executives of big enterprises, speaking at conferences, leading CloudFormation Training. RBN has also pushed me to be AWS certified and that has given me the confidence to really own my title.
Ambitious, tenacious, disciplined
Not telling you, because it’s cheesy
Mostly parasite words – “Like” and “kinda” and “ugh”
I ride my CBR600RR around and also sew clothes for my up and coming collection. I am always busy. I never stop.
The movie must be dramatic, because my life has been a wild ride. I think “The Devil wears Prada and Stripes Disks” (hahahaha!!). Joke aside, I have achieved a lot and have made my family extremely proud. For that reason I think Meryl Streep should play me.
You know that’s a tough one. The way up is becoming an Architect, which I am in the process of doing. Above from that is management and I am not ready to give up the coding yet. So Cloud Solutions Architect, but that’s a given!
