Tips on Preparing for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Exam

It’s common knowledge that it pays to be certified. That’s especially true when it comes to cloud computing.

In its 10th annual IT Skills and Salary Survey, Global Knowledge found that the AWS Certified Solutions Architect — Associate is the third highest-paying IT certification. According to the report, “In the U.S. and Canada, the average salary for AWS-certified IT staff is 27.5% higher than the norm ($101,755 versus $79,796).”

It’s not just those working directly with the technology who benefit from cloud certification. IT decision makers also benefit. Global Knowledge found that IT decision makers earn 13.7% more than their counterparts who do not hold an AWS certification.

These findings arrived on our desk just as we were planning our April AWS Michigan MeetUp. On Thursday, April 27, RightBrain’s very own Tanya Atanasova will share her personal experience and insights on Prepping for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect — Associate Exam.

Tanya will cover:

  •      A blueprint of the exam information
  •      Most important white papers to read
  •      A demo of setting up a VPC in the AWS console
  •      Booting up an application
  •      The most important AWS services covered in the exam

The MeetUp will be held at 6:45 Eastern in our Ann Arbor office. Those who are outside the area can join us via live webcast.

The demand for cloud skills is high and, therefore, so are salaries for cloud certified IT pros. If you’re thinking about getting AWS certified, register to join us for some valuable insights on AWS and tips on preparing for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect — Associate exam.
