Creating Graphical Profiles of Individuals from Diverse Sources using AWS Rekogntion

Sam Phillips is the founder of eyeball, an app that uses facial recognition to find photos of a user from other people’s photo libraries (eyeball.gg). He is also finalizing transferring into the University of Michigan-Flint as a computer science major. The discussion will revolve around two main topics. One, how AWS Rekogntion can become a vital tool in collating albums of photos that feature a single individual. Second, the talk will discuss, at a broad level, how network effects can be leveraged in tandem with AWS AppSync analytics in order to reach new potential users.
